I’ve missed you all so much! This is my first post as a new Mommy. Yep, that’s right. Baby Jaxon is here! It’s been a few weeks since his early arrival, but I’ve been selfishly using this time to adjust and give him all my attention. (Stay tuned for my labor post which will hopefully be up on the blog soon. I can’t wait to share all the details.)
In this post, I’m going to showcase how I wore my pieces gifted by Great Expectations maternity line found in Walmart. Not only have I worn these pieces while pregnant, but they are also awesome as postpartum pieces.
The pieces that I’m photographed in here include the following:
- Short sleeve scoop neck tee in oatmeal heather – $8.94
- Jegging in black – $18.98
- Long sleeve v-neck in sea turtle space dye (pictured below)- $12.94
I absolutely LOVE these 3 pieces from Great Expectations. No lie! I am not a paid spokesperson for GE either. The material composition of the tees are so soft against the skin and the side ruching allows for ultimate stretch throughout the course of your pregnancy. These pieces will definitely grow with you. I paired the short sleeve scoop neck tee with the jeggings, then completed the look with a duster vest, a tiered fabric necklace, and a straw fedora hat.
The stretch waistband on the jeggings also covers my entire belly up to my bra line. For this reason, these bottoms are now a postpartum favorite of mine being that I am nursing. When I’m not wearing a nursing top, the tummy panel on the pants allow me to lift my top and feed baby boy without having to expose much skin.
I hope all of my moms-to-be visit Walmart and checkout their maternity section. If you’re anything like me, I didn’t even know that Walmart carried maternity pieces prior to my collaboration with Great Expectations.
